Media Release – Friday 23 November 2012

Emerging Canberra jewellery label Knave & Fables recently made their debut on the Hollywood red carpet, with actor Ryan Daniel Dobson showing off some of the label’s dapper pieces at the Napa Valley Film Festival.

Ryan Daniel Dobson has starred in well-known Hollywood series including How I Met Your Mother and Castle, as well as his own film Prattle.

Ryan approached Knave & Fables after coming across their online store and was instantly drawn by the unique designs and felt they could pair perfectly with his red carpet suit.

He was on the hunt for a statement piece to complement his already dapper style.

Knave & Fables chose to pair his outfit with the Mycorrhizae Skinny-Tie Bar, the feature piece from the debut collection Knave: The Bronze Age.

After receiving his bespoke piece, Ryan stated “I love it. It is phenomenal; you have such a special aesthetic for interesting, beautiful, but still masculine jewellery”.

Knave & Fables are honored to have Ryan as an ambassador of the label and hope that his influence in the Hollywood scene helps Knave & Fables break into the American market.

After only just launching their debut collection Knave: The Bronze Age, the pair behind the label — brother-sister team Jonny and Danielle Day — are very excited about the immediate growth of the label.

Knave & Fables have scouted the fashion industry in Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne since their launch of their debut collection in June 2012 and hope to soon have their pieces permanently featured in select high end men’s jewellery stores across all three states.

Knave & Fables will be exhibiting their range this weekend at Canberra’s first ever fashion festival Avant-Garden at The Realm Hotel.
